The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders had their time in front of the cameras Thursday night at FedExField, as the Redskins Broadcast Network was shooting its WRC video capsules for the 2012 season.
The ladies were revealing all kinds of information, including an interesting fact about themselves and their favorite memories being the First Ladies of Football.
After the shoot — which ended around 7:30 p.m. Thursday — the team immediately went back into their studio for another hard practice to perfect their routines for Sunday’s home game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Here’s the behind-the-scenes photos from Thursday’s video shoot, via the Redskins Instagram account:

Redskins Cheerleader Featured In Esquire
Posted by on October 8, 2012 – 4:18 pmThe Washington Redskins cheerleaders do far more than just entertain the fans in the crowd — even though they’re awesome at that, too.
The First Ladies of Football are also fans of the team and paying close attention to the action on the field, as evidenced by an Esquire magazine interview with Redskins cheerleader Mila.
Mila today was profiled for the magazine’s weekly “Monday Morning Cheerleader,” and she showed off her knowledge of the Redskins and their game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, answering questions like:

VIDEO: Cheerleaders Warm Up In Rain!
Posted by on October 7, 2012 – 9:48 amThis is dedication, folks.
It’s about 50 degrees and rainy here at FedExField as the crews get the facility ready for this afternoon’s game between the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite the cruddy weather, your Washington Redskins Cheerleaders still needed to get in their warmup. So, there they were — in the rain — doing just that.
And, of course, they were looking terrific doing it (special thanks to Redskins.com intern Daniel Zimmet for shooting this video):
Here’s that footage:

‘Skins Cheerleader Appears On ‘Today’
Posted by on September 21, 2012 – 2:12 pm
There’s a whole lot more that goes into the professional cheerleader world than simply showing up for the games and putting on a good show.
Being a Washington Redskins Cheerleader, for example, is a part-time gig. Every member has another full-time endeavor that takes most of their time Monday through Saturday.
Take team captain Talmesha, for example. The Bronx, N.Y., native is in her fifth year as one of the First Ladies of Football, but she also has her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins Medical School.
Talmesha was among several professional cheerleaders profiled in a piece this morning on the “Today” show that takes a look at “Science Cheerleaders,” a growing group of women who perform during professional sporting events while also pursuing advanced degrees in science, engineering and medicine.
