Chris Cooley and Fred Davis Ride Tricycles At The Caps Game
Posted by on March 31, 2010 – 8:20 amSo yesterday, just a few hours after I was rambling about how the athletes on D.C.’s various sports teams all support each other and show up at one another’s events, this happened: Chris Cooley vs. Fred Davis in the tricycle race to end all tricycle races.
If I had been asked to handicap this one in advance, I think you’d have to give the edge to Cooley. Even though Davis is — by Cooley’s admission — possibly a more talented athlete — I think Cooley’s experience in racing small wheeled vehicles will help him carry the day.

So, yeah, I’m not sure what else there is to add to that. I mean, it’s really just another example of two professional football players hold an on-ice tricycle race during an NHL intermission, and who hasn’t seen THAT a thousand times before. Read more »
