Cousins: ‘I’m Getting To Live My Dream’

But it didn’t take long for the former Michigan State star to realize he had a chance to be a part of something special with the Redskins.

Rookie Morris Learning On The Fly

Morris — drafted in the sixth round in the 2012 draft out of Florida Atlantic — said the coaching staff simply let them worry about playing football Monday at the Redskins’ indoor training facility.

Griffin III To Appear on ‘The Tonight Show’

Redskins Sign Draft Pick Robinson
Posted by on May 17, 2012 – 10:51 amThe Redskins announced today that they have signed 2012 fourth-round draft pick, linebacker Keenan Robinson.
Robinson, who was the 119th overall pick in last month’s draft, played collegiately at Texas for four seasons. While there, he appeared in 51 games with 39 starts and was a two-time second team All-Big 12 selection (2010 & 2011).

Jordan Bernstine’s Got Hops

The Iowa product was selected by the Redskins with their final pick (217th overall) in last month’s NFL Draft.

Griffin III Back In Action; Slinging Socks
Posted by on May 16, 2012 – 10:03 amRedskins’ quarterback Robert Griffin III was among several rookies who reported back to Redskins Park this week to return to studying the playbook and meeting some more teammates.
Griffin III — the 2011 Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor and the Redskins’ second overall pick in last month’s draft — has already been named Washington’s starting quarterback, and was seen yesterday getting in a good workout with his teammates in the weight room.

Robert Griffin III Speaks After First OTA

Late Growth Spurt Assists Rookie CB
Posted by on May 15, 2012 – 3:13 pmRookie Redskins’ cornerback Richard Crawford was 5-foot-7 when he graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside, Calif.
The major college football programs, in turn, passed on offering Crawford — a short-but-speedy defensive back and kick returner — a spot on their teams.
Two years later, Crawford — now four inches taller — had transferred from Saddleback Community College in California to Southern Methodist University, where he would continue to move up the lists of professional football scouts nationwide.
