Thompson Ready To ‘Prove Critics Wrong’

Posted by Chris Herting on May 30, 2013 – 7:55 am

The Washington Redskins selected running back Chris Thompson out of Florida State in the fifth round (154th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. Coming out of High School, he was widely considered as one of the top all-purpose players in the country displaying both the quickness and versatility that would make any opposing tackler quiver in their cleats.

Thompson’s addition has some fans excited about the prospect of a ‘Thunder’ and ‘Lightning’ duo in combination with last year’s stud Rookie of the Year candidate, Alfred Morris (also a former ‘AMA’ participant).

Whether or not the above situation unfolds on the field remains to be seen; however, Thompson appears to be motivated to prove his critics wrong and today was just the next Redskins player in line to take part in a reddit AMA (“ask me anything”) interview hosted on the NFL subreddit.

In case you missed it, we’re bringing you some of the highlights from yesterday’s chat which included topics ranging from the transition from former Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel (Buffalo Bills) to Robert Griffin III and the name he would give to his feature dish at an NFL themed restaurant.

So keep reading and, trust us, you won’t be disappointed!
