It’s a shame I didn’t record sooner — the play before the first one you see in the video below, outside linebacker Brian Orakpo absolutely destroyed his running back counterpart.

Saturday’s practice was the first this season in which the Redskins wore their shoulder pads.
But today’s practice at Redskins Park was the first to feature some hitting.

Coach Gibbs ‘Chalk Talks’ Pass Protection

Former Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs has had Super Bowl success that needs no introduction or qualification–he is simply one of the best of all time.
On the eve of Super Bowl XLVI, Gibbs made a ‘chalk talk’ video for his website “Game Plan For Life,” discussing his keys to tonight’s game. The Gibbs Redskins teams were known for being solid on defense and creative on offense–first with the running game, and later with an open aerial attack.
But for a coach who needed three quarterbacks for his three Super Bowl titles, Gibbs understands the importance of quality pass protections.
