A Saturday Snapshot From The Combine
Posted by on February 24, 2013 – 10:35 amThe Offensive Line and Tight Ends took the field today to show off their speed and agility. ‘Distinguished’ Chester Ready For 2012
Posted by on June 5, 2012 – 9:39 amWith a full year of experience with the Washington Redskins behind him, veteran offensive lineman Chris Chester is primed for a strong 2012 season.
The only Redskins’ offensive lineman to start all 16 games at the same position last season, Chester settled in at right guard and quickly learned coach Mike Shanahan’s zone-blocking scheme.
Chester – who played collegiately at Oklahoma before spending five years with the Baltimore Ravens – was also key to the successful rookie seasons of running backs Roy Helu Jr. and Evan Royster, who combined to rush for 968 yards in 2011, oftentimes by running through Chester’s blocks.
