Kevin Durant Welcomes Back Chris Cooley
Posted by on October 23, 2012 – 12:36 pmWashington Redskins fans are ecstatic about the return of tight end Chris Cooley, who re-signed with the team Monday after starting tight end Fred Davis suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in last Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants.
Cooley, 30, is the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions by a tight end, and has become one of the more popular players in Redskins history since joining the team as a third-round selection in the 2004 NFL Draft.
So it’s no surprise at all that Cooley’s jersey is one of the Redskins’ best sellers.
Well, one particularly famous Redskins fan put on his own Cooley jersey and went to his Instagram account to welcome Captain Chaos back to his favorite team.

Do The Redskins Have A New Fan?
Posted by on July 26, 2012 – 1:29 pmSure, it’s always funny to take photos of those sleeping nearby, but in doing so, Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love might’ve uncovered a budding Washington Redskins fan.
Love tweeted the photo above early this morning, meant more as a joke to his Team USA men’s basketball teammates.

Durant, LeBron Show Love For Redskins
Posted by on July 16, 2012 – 4:58 pm
Given that they’re in town today for their exhibition contest against Brazil, it’s no surprise that U.S. Olympic Men’s Basketball teammates Kevin Durant and LeBron James are fielding questions about the D.C. sports scene.
But the questions are especially familiar for Durant, who was born in D.C. and has been one of the more visible Washington Redskins fans in recent years.

What If Durant Played For The Redskins?
Posted by on November 3, 2011 – 2:35 pmDay Two of trying to make Kevin Durant a serious football player:
Yesterday, I asked you, the people of Redskins Nation, to step into the loafers of general manager Bruce Allen, and decide whether or not you would bring in NBA star, Maryland Native, and noted Redskins fan Kevin Durant.
To the tune of 81 percent, you said “Yes!”
Today, the fine folks at Panini America (via SBNation’s Mike Prada) imagined what it would look like to have “Trey5” in a Redskins uniform. Â Via “The Knight’s Lance,” official blog of Panini America:
Durant’s dominating performance on the gridiron immediately got us here at Panini Americadreaming about the endless football card possibilities of such a dreamy vocational relocation. So seeing as how Durant is one of our exclusive athletes (and since the Redskins could obviously use the offensive help), we dispatched an all-star team of creative experts to concoct two fantasy football cards.
And here is the result: Read more »

Kevin Durant: NBA Star, Football Stud?
Posted by on November 2, 2011 – 12:25 pmThe key to every successful team is playmakers. Â When a team loses playmakers, it suffers. Â When a team needs playmakers, it goes out and gets them. Â That’s exactly what this flag football player-coach did in Oklahoma:
I had soooo much fun at Oklahoma st playing flag football! Shoutout my new buddy @groverbey for inviting me! I threw 4 tds and had 3 ints!!—
Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) November 01, 2011
If I played for the other team, I would’ve driven past the field…and kept on driving. Â And returned with Dwight Howard.
