Hog: ‘I Just Wanted To Thank The Fans’
Posted by on May 30, 2012 – 11:57 amHe may not have the name recognition of some other original members of The Hogs, the Redskins’ talented and famous offensive line of the 1980s and early 1990s, but Fred Dean was just as important of a piece as anybody to the Redskins’ first-ever Super Bowl title in the 1982 season.
Dean was among the Redskins greats that came aboard the Redskins’ 80th Anniversary Thank You Tour bus Thursday in its first stop in Winchester, Va.

Tour: Warm Welcome in Winchester
Posted by on May 24, 2012 – 2:22 pmWe’re two stops in, one big stop to go in the first day of the Washington Redskins’ 80th Anniversary Thank You Tour today in Winchester, Va.
A collection of former Redskins’ greats and current team officials — as well as the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders — received a warm welcome our first two stops of the day in the Winchester Rotary Club Luncheon and at NW Works, Inc., a great facility that provides training and employement to adult individuals who typically would not have the opportunity to work.
