Redskins-Seahawks: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on January 6, 2013 – 8:00 amThe Redskins have been underdogs and had their backs against the wall for the entire 2012 regular season — so why not in the postseason, as well?
The trend continues today when the Redskins (10-6), NFC East champions and winners of seven straight, do battle against the Seattle Seahawks (11-5) in the NFC Wild Card round playoff game at FedExField.
More than 80 percent of the experts below are going with the road team in today’s game. This is despite the Seahawks’ struggles on the road (with a rookie quarterback) and a defense that hasn’t exactly been the league’s best against the run.

Redskins-Cowboys: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on December 30, 2012 – 8:00 amLast week, about 97 percent of the experts and analysts below thought the Washington Redskins would defeat the Philadelphia Eagles.
They were right.
But tonight, with the NFC East title on the line when the Redskins face the Cowboys at FedExField, the experts feel Washington will have a game on its hands.
This should be a good one.

Redskins-Eagles: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on December 23, 2012 – 9:30 amLet’s just face the facts: the Redskins are a team on the up and the Eagles have been going the other way this season.
Just a couple of years ago, it was the Eagles that were the perennial favorites of the NFC East. Now, at 4-10, they’re not.
Since their Bye Week this season, the Redskins (8-6) have soared up into the top spot in the NFC East and show no signs of slowing.
Accordingly, the experts and analysts below think the Redskins should take care of business today vs. the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field — in fact, 97 percent of them do.

Redskins-Browns: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on December 16, 2012 – 11:00 amThe Washington Redskins head into today’s game vs. the Cleveland Browns the winners of four straight games. But having the momentum going your way doesn’t always guarantee a win in the NFL, especially on the road.
The Redskins will be giving quarterback Kirk Cousins his first-career start today, as Robert Griffin III nurses a sprained LCL in his right knee. The experts and analysts below probably took the possibility of Cousins starting into consideration when making their weekly picks.
Despite this fact, the Redskins are still favored today.

Redskins-Ravens: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on December 9, 2012 – 10:00 amLast week, just more than 25 percent of the NFL experts and analysts below picked the Redskins to defeat the New York Giants on Monday Night Football at FedExField.
So, in other words, a little less than 75 percent of those experts and analysts were wrong. The Redskins, of course, won 17-16 to get within a game of the NFC East-leading Giants.
The story is a little different today, as the Redskins (6-6) play host to the AFC North-leading Ravens (9-3) at FedExField. Even though the Ravens have been enjoying a better season overall to this point, you can see below which team the analysts are going with today.

Redskins-Giants: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on December 3, 2012 – 1:46 pmIn Week 7 — the last time the Redskins and the Giants played one another — just less than nine percent of the NFL experts and analysts below picked the Redskins to pull off the upset.
And the Redskins almost won that game at MetLife Stadium, taking a late lead with about a minute left before the Giants won on a last-second touchdown throw.
But with the Redskins (5-6) now riding a two-game winning streak heading into tonight’s Monday Night Football rematch with the Giants (7-4), just a few more think Washington will dispose of the defending Super Bowl champions at FedExField.

Redskins-Cowboys: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on November 22, 2012 – 12:14 pmLast week, more than 85 percent of the NFL experts and analysts below picked the Redskins to be victorious over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Boy, were they ever right. The Redskins thrashed the Eagles 31-6, dominating in all aspects of the game.
Today’s Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, however, paints a different picture.

Redskins-Eagles: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on November 17, 2012 – 9:51 amAt one point, just nine percent of the various NFL experts and analysts below believed the Redskins would go into MetLife Stadium and escape with a win against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants.
Well, the 91 percent who picked against the Redskins were right — but just barely. The Redskins took a late lead before Eli Manning and Victor Cruz — well, you know what happened in the final seconds.
Anyway, the experts are strongly in favor of one team in tomorrow’s Redskins-Eagles matchup at FedExField; but this time, the Redskins aren’t picked to lose.
More than 85 percent of those listed below are picking the Redskins (3-6) to defeat the Eagles (3-6). Here’s a look at this week’s various picks:

Redskins-Steelers: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on October 28, 2012 – 9:30 amLast week, less than nine percent of the experts and analysts we use for our weekly Expert Pick ‘Em thought the Washington Redskins could go into MetLife Stadium and get a win against the New York Giants.
Well, they were right. The Giants stole a last-minute 27-23 win against the Redskins, but I’m guessing that not many of those same experts and analysts thought the Redskins would be in the position to win near the end of the game that they were.
This week, a whopping 22.9 percent of those same experts think the Redskins (3-4) will escape Heinz Field today with a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3). I’ll just be optimistic and say we appreciate the 150-plus percent increase in confidence for Washington this week.

Redskins-Giants: Experts Pick ‘Em
Posted by on October 21, 2012 – 8:46 amVegas had the Washington Redskins as favorites for the first time in three weeks last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, and Sin City was correct.
Let’s hope this week they’re wrong.
The Redskins (3-3) are 7.5-point underdogs today as they travel to the Big Apple to take on the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants (4-1).
It’s a pretty drastic spread against a team that has been in every game this season and could very well be 5-1 at this point, and many experts seem to agree — although they don’t see the Redskins pulling off the upset.
Spoiler alert: just less than nine percent of the analysts below are predicting the Redskins will be victorious today:
