The Washington Redskins made a familiar investment in the secondary Thursday, re-signing the versatile E.J. Biggers.

According to the corner/safety’s Twitter account, he’ll return to Washington with upgraded vision.

What Went Right: Redskins Chargers

Highlight: Darrel Young bangs into the end zone from 4 yards out, ending overtime and delivering a win.

What went right: Power football. The offensive line is fast off the ball, delivering a push at the line of scrimmage. Young takes the quick handoff and sees a crease up the middle. The fullback slips behind Kory Lichtensteiger and follows the lane created by two athletic linemen sealing off the next level. Will Montgomery ties up linebacker Bront Bird. Tackle Tyler Polumbus puts linebacker Andrew Gachkar on skates. Young finishes through contact and falls forward for a touchdown.

VOTE: Who Breaks Out At Denver?

In all likelihood, we’re looking at a track meet. The Redskins pit the NFL’s No. 4 offense against Denver’s No. 1 unit. The Broncos are ranked 30th in defense, and Washington is 24th.

Last week, Roy Helu Jr. was the hero, coming through in the red zone to punch in three touchdowns. Will an unexpected contributor be the key to the game this week? Or will the Redskins need an all-time performance from Robert Griffin III to win? Will Jordan Reed build upon a record-breaking performance against the Bears?

On defense, E.J. Biggers could come up big at corner or safety, where the Redskins are missing both starters. Who do you think will break out at Denver? Vote below.
