Your Starting Right Guard: Chad Rinehart
Posted by on November 12, 2009 – 4:10 pm
This is what I thought I saw during yesterday’s practice, and it was confirmed today: Chad Rinehart will be stepping in at right guard in relief of Will Montgomery. There were rumors of this move last week; this week it’s actually happening.
Rinehart spoke briefly to the media today, and — like Levi Jones — said more or less what you’d expect. Let’s see if he hits all the same categories Jones did. Read more »

Yes, The Redskins Players Are Aware Of The Team's Problems
Posted by on September 28, 2009 – 2:19 pm
If you believe that admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery, then today’s open locker room was absolutely full of recovering football players. For just about every problem that has been brought up about the loss to the Lions and the team’s play in general, there was a player somewhere explaining to a microphone just how aware they were of that problem. On The Field For Practice – Good News and Bad News
Posted by on September 25, 2009 – 2:16 pmPractice today was a relatively light affair, shorts and shells in pleasant weather, and focused mainly on the red zone, which should make people happy. Monday, February 9: Redskins Make Burgers On TV
Posted by on February 9, 2009 – 11:32 am
If you are a dedicated viewer of the NFL Players Association‘s reality TV series Helmets Off, but you DVRed this week’s episode and wish to remain spoiler-free as to who wins the Redskins linemen’s burger competition that aired this past Saturday, STOP READING NOW.
If you’re more like me and had never heard of Helmets Off, let alone the Redskins linemen’s burger competition, here’s some quick background: the show is in its fifth season, and is described by the NFLPA’s marketing materials as “a series of reality television shows featuring some of the most talented stars in the National Football League.” The show airs on Comcast SportsNet (or Fox Sports, depending on where you live), so check their website for airdates and times.
Anyhow, the first I heard of the burger contest — held at the Good Stuff Eatery in DC — was a month or so back, when the winner shouted across the locker room, “Hey, I won the burger contest!” Read more »
