Meet undrafted college free agent offensive tackle Tevita Stevens. The 6’3” 300 pound product was born in Hemet, Calif. He attended the University of Utah where he starred as a four-year starter at both guard and center.
As a senior, the honorable mention All-Pac-12 recipient started all 12 games and played every snap (746 in total for those counting).
Beyond the field, Stevens excelled in the classroom earning recognition as a four-time academic all-conference player and first-team Academic All-Pac-12 in 2011 and 2012.
However, it might be his journey to the NFL that is the more intriguing story.

Last year it was University of Virginia cornerback Chase Minnifield who, before a season ending injury suffered during minicamps, had everyone talking about his performance at rookie practice. The 6-0, 185 pound undrafted free agent shined right out of the gate in a burgundy and gold uniform and looked to position himself for a chance to compete for playing time.
Fast forward to 2013 and there are a few intriguing college free agent names that will have a chance to earn the right to play on Sundays. One of those names is Bonne Terre, Mo. native and former Nebraska linebacker William Compton.

The draft is over. Teams across the league have addressed needs, solidified depth, filled roster spots, and are ready for OTAs and Training Camp, right?
Yes, the draft is over, but the fact remains that, per the collective bargaining agreement, teams are permitted to carry 90 players into training camp. Therefore, in order to reach the 90-man roster limit the Redskins will turn to college free agents (CFA) to fill those spots.
