RG3! RG3! RG3! Without doubt, our rookie phenom will be the focus of the discussion at the next taping of my TV show, “Burgundy & Gold Magazine,” at Branded 72 Pit Barbecue at 387 East Gude Drive in Rockville on Monday, Nov. 12.
The taping was rescheduled from Oct. 29, when the threat of Hurricane Sandy loomed over the entire East Coast.
I’ll be joined by former Redskins superstar wide receiver Roy Jefferson, just selected as one of the “10 for 80,” the 10 new names added to the Redskins’ 80 greatest list announced this year in honor of the franchise’s 80th anniversary. WTOP ace Redskins beat reporter George Wallace also will be there, as well as my super special guest: SuperSkin! That amazing Redskins mascot is one of a kind! Several Redskinettes also plan to come.

Can two-time Super Bowl winner Mike Shanahan lead the Redskins to the playoffs in his third season in D.C.? Will the talent-laden RG3 live up to his promise as the Redskins’ QB of the future? What’s the deepest segment on the squad? Did the $18 million salary cap hit hurt the Redskins’ pursuit of elite free agents?
Those questions dominated a taping of “Burgundy & Gold Magazine” at Branded `72 Pit Barbecue on Gude Drive in Rockville on Aug. 27.
