Memorable Turkey Day Victory In Top-20
Posted by on May 14, 2013 – 3:05 pmThe Washington Redskins were one of the most exciting draws during the 2012 season. With mounds of hype surrounding quarterback Robert Griffin III and the unknown factor that was Alfred Morris, excitement abound was in our Nation’s Capital.
No. 10 quickly transcended from lead man at Baylor to superstar in the NFL in minutes. 12 minutes to be exact via wide receiver Pierre Garcon’s 88-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown with the cameo debut of Griffining as the cherry on top.
Despite the fact that the Burgundy and Gold entered the bye week at 3-6 and dwelling at the cellar of the NFC East there was hope with seven games remaining, five of which were against NFC East foes.
While the Redskins 31-6 smackdown of the Eagles after the bye week was certainly unforgettable thanks to Griffin III’s perfect 158.3 quarterback rating, everyone waited in eager anticipation for their Turkey Day matchup with the Cowboys.
Insert the 20th best game of the 2012 season.

Moss’ Jump Ball Catch No. 64 Of Top Plays
Posted by on May 9, 2013 – 3:17 pm
Since 2005 the Redskins have seen about as much change as any team in the league.
Mike Shanahan is the third head coach during that time, Robert Griffin III has taken over the reins of the offense and firmly entrenched himself as a franchise corner piece, and weapons Fred Davis, Pierre Garcon, and Josh Morgan have been added to spread the threat across the field.
While there has plethora of new faces, one man has remained a constant figure despite all the moving pieces—wide receiver Santana Moss.
After being acquired in trade with the New York Jets, Moss instantly became the Redskins number one receiving threat.
Moss would lull defensive backs to sleep before whizzing pass them with his blazing speed.
Just when it looked like Moss’ time as an elite receiver was reaching its deadline No. 89 recorded a team-high eight touchdowns.
This touchdown against the Eagles, however, may have been the crème de la crème.

Griffin III Refuses To Be Complacent

Quarterback Robert Griffin III sat down with Larry Michael on the set of Redskins Nation to recap all that went down in his first year in the Nation’s Capital after a truly spectacular career at Baylor University.
Washington handed the reigns of the franchise to the 2011 Heisman winner as he left little doubt that moving up to the second overall pick in last year’s draft will go down as one of the greatest trades in history.
The AP Offensive Rookie of the Year shared his thoughts in the first segment on:
–His nerves before stepping out of the tunnel at New Orleans Week 1.
–Saints fans joining the Redskins faithful that day chanting his name in unison.
–On just how much he hates to lose especially close calls such as the team’s 31-28 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 2.
–We all know that the man is driven to be the best out there each and every week, so how does he feel about complacency?
–Stepping out of the locker room and into the spotlight in front of a rabid crowd at FedExField for the first time.
–On concentrating on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Brandon Meriweather and Aldrick Robinson collided during warm ups.
So sit back, put on some headphones if your at work and hear Griffin III give an inside look at how his freshman campaign went in his own words below.

Should Aldrick Robinson Be on DWTS?
Posted by on February 28, 2013 – 10:51 am
Sunday night, the Oscars took center stage as the entertainment community gathered to honor some of the best entertainment performances on the big screen this past year.
During a commercial break, a different form of grandeur was being advertised for this spring. Dancing!
That’s right, Dancing with the Stars is returning this March and Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones will take to the dance floor after catching America’s attention with several eye popping dance numbers at the Super Bowl.
While Jones has created the reputation for strutting his stuff in end zone across the league, we believe that the Redskins-own Aldrick Robinson could challenge Jones’s spot as the best dancer.
Find out why we make a case for Robinson after his epic shimmy in the confines of Cowboys Stadium on Thanksgiving Day:

Robinson this morning was named the winner of the weekly “Dancing With The Starters” contest by the NFL Network’s “NFL AM” crew. Robinson made his moves (see below) after his 68-yard touchdown last Thursday in the Redskins’ 38-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
‘NFL AM’ tweeted about the award this morning:

For the season, Robinson has 11 catches for 237 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a touchdown grab Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints.
