Offensive lineman Ty Nsekhe is a well-traveled player, and now he’ll add Washington, D.C., to the long list of cities where he’s played.
The 6-foot-5, 325 pounder, whom the Redskins signed on Tuesday, played for Texas State and was signed by the Corpus Christi Sharks as an undrafted free agent in 2009.
After playing in the AF2, an indoor developmental league, Nsekhe joined the Arena Football League and stayed for the next three years before he was signed by the Colts in August 2012. He was cut a month later but was picked up by the Rams, where he appeared in two games during the 2012 season.
During his time in the Arena Football League, Nsekhe, because teams must become creative with their personnel, caught 13 passes for three touchdowns in his career.
You can watch a few in this highlight video. Also, notice how Nsekhe takes defenders and slams them over the wall until the end of the play.
