My new friend brought me to tears with her testimony today never met her a day in my life until today touch me deeply strong woman fighting for her life and staying strong not only for herself but for all the sickle cell people in the world she don't care about her next breathe for herself but she cares enough to fight to make a different for others in her situation! Washington Redskins cornerback Bashaud Breeland was brought to tears Saturday afternoon as he listened to Denise Johnson talk about growing up with sickle-cell disease.
Breeland wrote on Instagram that Johnson touched him deeply, as he learned that she’s not only fighting for her own life, but trying to raise awareness about the disease as well.
He even included some of her words in the post, as you can see in the caption of the photo above.
