Not only will Ricky Ervins, Ken Harvey and Dexter Manley be attending Saturday’s Inova blood drive at Redskins Park, but Gary Clark will be joining them as well.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Inova will be holding a blood drive at the team’s headquarters in Loudoun County, Va., where there will be a ton of neat activities, but, of course, most important is the opportunity to help save lives.
Inova Blood Donor Services supplies 24 hospitals in Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C., metro area with lifesaving blood and blood products. One blood donation can save up to three lives.
While at the Park, you can get a limited edition Redskins shirt, a VIP Tour of the facility, a picture with the Super Bowl Trophies and the chance to win a 2015 VIP Game Experience including two premium tickets, the opportunity to stand on the field during the National Anthem and more.
Clark, who played his first eight seasons in the NFL with the Redskins, helped the Redskins win two Super Bowl titles.
He finished his illustrious career in burgundy and gold with 549 receptions for 8,742 yards – he recorded at least 1,000 yards in five seasons — and 58 touchdowns.
Be sure to check back with The Redskins Blog tomorrow with more information on the blood drive.
