The Redskins’ Secretary of Defense, Dexter Manley, will be at Redskins Park this Saturday for Inova’s blood drive.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Inova will be holding a blood drive at the team’s headquarters in Loudoun County, Va., where there will be a ton of neat activities, but, of course, most important is the opportunity to help save lives.
Inova Blood Donor Services supplies 24 hospitals in Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C., metro area with lifesaving blood and blood products. One blood donation can save up to three lives.
While at the Park, you can get a limited edition Redskins shirt, a VIP Tour of the facility, a picture with the Super Bowl Trophies and the chance to win a 2015 VIP Game Experience including two premium tickets, the opportunity to stand on the field during the National Anthem and more.
Manley is a two-time Super Bowl Champion with the Redskins and one of the team’s 80 greatest players.
In 1986, his best year statistically, Manley was selected as an All-Pro, recording a single-season team record 18.5 sacks.
Manley won’t be the only former Redskin in attendance, though, as he’ll be joined by several other burgundy and golders.
Check back with The Redskins Blog later in the week to see who they are.
