Last month we covered a skateboarder living in California who wore his Redskins gear and DeAngelo Hall jersey to the rink.

It seems the extreme sports Redskins fans like their defensive backs.

Check out this epic picture from a fan high atop a mountain in Vermont wearing a Sean Taylor jersey.

The view is pretty spectacular but he made sure last Sunday that other skiers and boarders knew it was game day.

If you have more pictures wearing Redskins gear–especially in cool places like this– share them with us and we’ll try to feature you in a post!

In the midst of college bowl season, The Redskins Blog will be highlighting the games that current Redskins players will likely be monitoring.

Chris Thompson will be paying attention to:

Rose Bowl— Oregon vs. Florida State— Jan. 1, Pasadena, Calif.

This is the first time Florida State will have the chance to play in the Rose Bowl game thanks to the newly implemented playoff system.

You can bet Chris Thompson will be watching some of his former Seminole teammates enjoy it.

Thompson, who just finished his second year as a running back with the Redskins, played four years at Florida State. He ran for 1,735 yards in his career, including 687 yards in a shortened senior year.

After Florida State won the Orange Bowl that year, Thompson opted out of returning as a medical redshirt and the Redskins drafted him in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

The following year the Seminoles beat Auburn to win the BCS National Championship and have not lost in 2014 as they prepare to take on Oregon.

Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins and Trenton Robinson will be paying attention to:

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic— Baylor vs. Michigan State— January 1, Arlington, Texas

Griffin III attended Baylor University in the spring before his freshman semester.

He started at quarterback his first year in 2008, earning Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year honors. After three solid seasons, Griffin III broke out in his redshirt-junior year, leading the Bears to a 10-3 record and an Alamo Bowl victory in 2011.

That year, Griffin was a human-highlight reel and he became the first Baylor football player to win the Heisman Trophy.

He threw for more than 4,000 yards and connected on 37 touchdowns while also rushing for 699 yards.

Aside from playing football, he took first place in the 400-meter hurdle during the Big 12 Conference Championships.

Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins earned the starting quarterback job for Michigan State in 2009 and led the Spartans to an 11-2 record the following year to share the Big Ten title. His senior was even better, earning Second Team All-Big Ten and beat Georgia in the Outback Bowl in his last collegiate game.

He was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Robinson spent the same four years with Cousins at Michigan State and was voted a team captain with the quarterback in 2011.

He started 32 games as a Spartan, collecting 229 tackles and nine interceptions.

After being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, he moved to the Eagles and was signed by the Redskins in 2013.

As Redskins players have begun enjoying the comforts of their own homes this week, they’ve also been able to enjoy other certain amenities.

For defensive end Jason Hatcher, that’s meant hiring a chef to cook up some meals during the holidays. So far, he seems to be appreciating the extra culinary help.

For any seafood lovers, it’s probably best not to watch this video.

Can't wait to eat. Chef Scott always take care of me when I'm home.

A post shared by Jason Hatcher (@hatcher97) on

Hatcher finished the year on Injured Reserve due to a lingering injury in his right knee.

In 14 games he recorded 25 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
