Redskins Fan A Staple At Wizards Games

As the college bowl season kicks off Saturday, The Redskins Blog will be highlighting the games that current Redskins players will likely be monitoring.

E.J. Biggers will be paying attention to:

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl — Western Michigan vs. Air Force — December 20, Boise, Idaho

Biggers started 40 games at cornerback for Western Michigan from 2005-08. He earned second-team All-MAC honors before being selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round of the 2009 draft.

Western Michigan has never had a bowl victory but Biggers helped lead them to two consecutive bowls to end his college career.

Tevita Stevens will be paying attention to:

Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl — Utah vs. Colorado State — December 20, Las Vegas, Nevada

Stevens was a four-year starting offensive lineman, playing center in his junior and senior years.

He graduated after the 2012 season but was part of four consecutive bowl games with Utah (2009-2011), which went 3-1 in that span, including upsetting Alabama, and most recently beating Georgia Tech, in overtime at the Sun Bowl.

Check back throughout the next few weeks for more Bowl Games and player histories to follow.
