Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon wanted to use the clout he has as a professional football player to give back to the Washington, D.C. community.
On June 5th, Pierre Garçon’s 2nd annual All-White Charity Event took place at the Millennium Building in Washington, D.C. The event would raise $100,000 for the Boys & Girls Club Of Greater Washington.
Before Sunday’s game, Garçon presented the check:
“Thank you everyone that helped me with the charity event and everyone that attended. Thank you Tower Companies, Josh Sagman, and Rueben Baja. Wouldn’t be able to do it without you guys. Thank you,” Garçon captioned the photo.
Below are some looks from the event:
The inaugural All-White Charity Event raised $30,000.
