Washington Redskins players on Thursday took to Twitter and Instagram to share their #TBT (Throwback Thursday) posts.
Let’s have a look at what they shared:
Wide receiver Pierre Garçon:
Garçon attended John I. Leonard High School in Greenacres, Florida, where he played football and soccer and competed in track.
Also, an interesting Throwback Thursday tidbit, Garçon didn’t start playing football until his junior year.
Safety Brandon Meriweather:
Before making it to the NFL, Meriweather starred at the University of Miami. Meriweather was a do-it-all player for the Hurricanes’ defense, as he started 21 games at strong safety, six at free safety, three at cornerback and one at nickel back during his career.
In 2005, he became the first defensive back to ever lead the Hurricanes in tackles in a season (115).
Wide receiver Santana Moss:
Speaking of Miami, here’s a photo of Moss signing his Letter of Intent with the program:
To this day, Moss remains the program’s all-time leader in receiving yards with 2,546.
Moss also became the first player ever to earn Big East Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Year honors in the same season.
Wide receiver DeSean Jackson:
Cornerback DeAngelo Hall:
