Clinton Portis’ debut for the Washington Redskins was unforgettable. So too, were his alter-egos.
Acquired by the Redskins through a trade with the Denver Broncos on March, 4, 2004, Portis came to the Nation’s Capital to serve as returning head coach Joe Gibbs’ premier running back.
On his very first carry as a Redskin, Portis sprinted past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense for a 64-yard touchdown:
It was the start of a seven-year run that included nearly 7,000 yards, 46 touchdowns and countless and hilarious moments with the media as different alter-egos:
The Redskins, by the way, won the last regular season meeting with the Buccaneers in 2012.
