Washington Redskins linebacker Will Compton may have played high school ball in the state of Missouri, and he may be a St. Louis Cardinals fan, but he’s a University of Nebraska guy.
That’s why he wasn’t too pleased to find this “gift” waiting for him upon his return to his home state:
What kind of sick joke is this? Finally make it home and this was waiting in my room. I’d rather have an ouija board than look at this.
Before joining the Redskins prior to the start of the 2013 season, Compton starred at Nebraska.
He appeared in 50 games with 37 starts as a linebacker, finishing his time there with 247 tackles and two All-Big Ten selections.
