It was all about the Washington Redskins on Saturday evening in Minnesota.
Hundreds of ecstatic Redskins fans packed the house and were joined by alums Chris Cooley and Rick “Doc” Walker, who happily signed autographs and took photos with the dozens of fans in the crowd.
Cooley ended his Redskins career as the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions by a tight end. A two-time Pro Bowler, Cooley can currently be heard on ESPN 980, as well as an analyst during all games on the Redskins Radio Network.
Walker, a great Redskins tight end, played with the team from 1980 through 1985, winning a Super Bowl title with the team during the 1982 season. He is currently a fixture on the sidelines during each game for the Redskins Broadcast Network, and also co-hosts the daily show “Inside The Locker Room” on ESPN 980.
