One local fantasy football league can thank the Washington Redskins for still having something they can play over the next few weekends.
As told in this article, the fantasy league took several tragic turns starting with the temporary loss of the commissioner over broken rules to the actually possibility that they’d all bet on the Dallas Cowboys to defeat the Redskins.
As agreed upon by the entire league, if they all chose the Cowboys to defeat the Redskins, they’d win some money. But, if the Cowboys lost, they’d kill the league.
Thankfully, one league member stood strong with his Redskins allegiance and refused to have anything to do with the Cowboys.
His smart bet and continued Redskins support saved the league.
