Vote For Community Project In Redskins Territory

The Week 8 matchup between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys will go far beyond the gridiron.

For each Monday Night Football game played this season, the two competing markets (in this case Washington, D.C. and Dallas) will also have a matchup off the field based on community projects.

Through NFL Play 60 DonorsChoose.org, fans can vote on projects between the two teams’ markets. The project that receives more votes will be fully funded, while the second place project will receive 50 percent of requested funding.

In this week’s matchup, Barrett Elementary School in Arlington, Va. and Uplife Grand Preparatory in Grand Prairie, Texas, will square off.
