Charley Taylor, one of the 80 Greatest Redskins and a Pro Football Hall of Famer, is celebrating his 73rd birthday today!
Drafted by the Redskins in the first round of the 1964 NFL Draft, Taylor would play his entire 13-year career in Washington.
He led the National Football League in receiving in both 1966 and 1967, and caught more than 50 passes in a record-tying seven campaigns. He ranks second all-time in career receptions in Redskins history with 649.
Taylor finished his career with 9,110 receiving yards and 79 touchdown catches
In 1984, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
