Kappa Alpha Psi Has Strong Redskins Connections

Founded more than 100 years ago on the campus of Indiana University, the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity boasts a rich history of brotherhood and leadership across the country – and around the world.

Over the span of a century, Kappa Alpha Psi has produced almost 200,000 collegiate members at more than 700 chapters across the globe.

So it should probably come as no surprise that the Redskins currently have several Kappas amongst them.

Those Kappas had a reunion of sorts Saturday afternoon at the Redskins’ training camp practice at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond, Va.

Andre Roberts, Keenan Robinson Choose Buffalo Wild Wings For “Cheat Meal”

Sometimes you just need to let your taste buds have it the way they like it.

Washington Redskins wide receiver Andre Roberts and linebacker Keenan Robinson have been working extremely hard over the last few weeks, going through training camp rigors to ensure they’re ready to contribute this season.

They’re downtime is limited, but when they do get away from the gridiron, they need something that will satisfy their need for relaxation and recovery.

That’s where Buffalo Wild Wings comes in.

Needing a high amount of protein and some tasty variety in their diets, the two went down to Buffalo Wild Wings last night for a “cheat meal.”

While the temperatures outside are staying amazingly cool for this time of year, the position battles for spots on the Washington Redskins’ roster are really starting to heat up.

Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden addressed the media this afternoon at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center and talked about some of the players fighting for spots, thoughts on the cut-down process, working on the two-minute drill daily and more.

Whether it’s creating outside lanes for the running backs or making sure the quarterbacks’ jerseys don’t need extra laundry detergent, Washington Redskins tight ends must be fundamentally sound in blocking.
