Offensive lineman beware: Jake McDonough is coming for you. More importantly, he’s coming for those quarterbacks and running backs you’re supposed to protect.

The Washington Redskins announced on Wednesday that they signed McDonough.

A defensive lineman at Iowa State from 2008-12, McDonough appeared in 39 games with 26 starts. As you’ll see below, the guy doesn’t play games. He just wants to destroy offenses.

He helped hold the Cyclones’ opponents to 23.9 points per game, third-fewest in the conference, as a senior in 2012, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors from the conference’s coaches according to the press release announcing his signing.

After his collegiate career ended, the 6-foot-5 defensive lineman served stints with the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts along with the Portland Thunder of the Arena Football League.

Some of his teammates during his time in the Pacific Northwest didn’t stand much of a chance, either.
