CSN Washington On Trent Williams Entering Year Five

Long before he pulled a Redskins jersey over his shoulder pads, right tackle Trent Williams envisioned being an elite player in the NFL.

“I have thought about that since I was in college,” Williams told the media shortly after being drafted with the fourth-overall pick in the 2010 Draft. “Just seeing how I would fare against the next level of competition. I have been playing this game my whole life. I think I can adjust to anything. It’s going to take hard work. It won’t be easy, but I’m ready for it.”

Four years later, Williams hasn’t just adjusted–he’s thrived.
