That was the question posed to CSN Washington’s Trevor Matich as the television network continues to get Redskins Nation ready for training camp by answering some of the biggest questions surrounding the team.

Sure, he’s got blazing speed, and yes, he’ll benefit greatly from his fellow wideouts taking eyes off of him, but as Matich explains, wide receiver DeSean Jackson isn’t a football player who was just blessed with quickness.

He’s so much more than that.

Kai Forbath’s Memorable Debuts

Kai Forbath knows how to leave a good first impression.

The Washington Redskins kicker signed with the team shortly before Week 6 of the 2012 season, never attempting a kick in the NFL.

In a position where uncertainty is the biggest certainty, no one was unsure of what Forbath was going to do when he lined up for his first field goal attempt–a 50 yarder.

Straight through the uprights, as did the next 16 attempts.

Setting a record for most field goals successfully converted to start a career (17), 2012 was the second incredible debut by Forbath.
