Washington Redskins running back Lache Seastrunk is an incredible athlete who can put points on the scoreboard in a hurry (emphasis on hurry as seen here). He is also the wearer of some beautiful spectacles.
While there’s no denying that he’s hoping to add another dimension to the offense, be a trusty weapon for Robert Griffin III and spell Alfred Morris and Roy Helu Jr. to ensure they don’t tire, he doesn’t want you to confuse his choice of wearing glasses to that of a hipster’s paradise.
As seen in the picture above from the NFL Combine in February and other off-the-field events, Seastrunk wears glasses.
Becoming a point of everyday conversation now, ESPN 980 personality Chris Cooley asked the rookie if it was a fashion statement or something of need.
Sorry fashionistas, you’ll be saddened to know he didn’t pick up his frames at the local outlet mall.
“These really are prescription glasses,” Seastrunk explained to a questioning Cooley.
While he doesn’t go all Eric Dickerson on the field, vision (he wears contacts) isn’t a problem when he’s out on the gridiron doing his thing.
After watching his highlight video, though, its obvious that Redskins’ opponents will need visual assistance on gameday.
When the jets are on, this guy is a blur.
