It was announced yesterday, that the city of Minneapolis will host Super Bowl LII in 2018. The Big Game will be held in the Minnesota Vikings’ new stadium which is scheduled to open its doors in 2016.

This will be the second time a Super Bowl will be held in Minneapolis.

The first? Super Bowl XXVI between the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins.

As nearly every fan of the game knows, the matchup featured two of the top offenses and what was supposed to be an electrifying back-and-fourth game.

Instead, the Redskins showed their brute and pounded the Bills. Going up 24-0 early in the third quarter, the burgundy and gold cruised to a 37-24 victory.
