Getting To Know Running Back Silas Redd

Why stop at getting just a first down when you can go the distance?

New Washington Redskins running back Silas Redd, signed last week as a college free agent knows what it takes to slice and dice hopeless defenders. In gold paint, too, mind you.

As seen in the video below from the 2012 season, the former USC Trojan was anointed the duty of getting his team a first down on 4th-and-2. He got it and then some. (This particular highlight starts at the 0:22 mark)

Alfred Morris’ Madden Face Scan

It’s time to add to the legend of Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris.

Whether it’s his rags to riches story of being a sixth-round pick to record breaker or the fact he’s nonchalantly ignored the newest offers in the automobile industry, Morris’ personality is one that is easy to gravitate towards.

That disposition has also lead him to be a wanted man in the virtual world.

While he didn’t beat out Andrew Luck in the Madden 15 cover vote, something fans may actually be okay with, he did have the guys from EA Sports travel to Ashburn to have his face scanned for the game.

A pretty awesome alternative to the cover. Alfred agreed.

“I’m happy that now my actually face and not the unattractive faces on the game right now,” he said with a chuckle about what it feels like to have his likeness on the game.
