For you Twitter diehards there is a new must-follow.
New Washington Redskins offensive lineman Morgan Moses (@MORGANMOSES_78) is known for his pass and run protection abilities and having ‘vines for arms’ on the field, but off the field his beard gets all sorts of attention. That attention comes in the form of observers in public wishing they could have such a luscious chinstrap and from social media lovers.
Redskins.com will track Moses and beard down soon to get a little more information on why the fuzzy creature was grown and having a handle, but for now check out some of what @NourishTheBeard has been up to recently:
Let’s hit the home run right off the bat. Moses and beard are excited to be heading just a few miles north from Charlottesville, where “they” attended UVA, to Washington, D.C.
There’s always some sort of media wanting to catch up with the Redskins. It can be a scary world for a wide-eyed rookie at first. But Moses and beard are used to the attention.
The caption for the next photo speaks for itself:
While the offensive lineman is the ultimate team-first player who will do whatever it takes to keep his quarterback’s jersey clean and create gaping holes for the running backs, beard is occasionally vain.
Moses and the rest of the rookies will be at Redskins Park this weekend for their first dip in the NFL experience. On Saturday, there will be two practice sessions (10:25-11:50am and 3:25-4:50pm) open to the media followed by head coach Jay Gruden’s first rookie minicamp press conference.
