This a journey that must be shared.

Since last summer, Adam Shatarsky has walked from Camp Pendleton in California to 8th and I Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C and from New York City to the Nation’s Capital. In total, the two walks have logged Adam nearly 3,000 miles of on-foot voyaging.

His trek between cities and seaboards is more than just a casual stroll for pleasure. Adam, along with a friend, created the Wounded Walk, a nonprofit dedicated to raising funds and awareness for veterans and troops returning from deployment. The second walk started in the Big Apple on April 10th.

On Saturday, Adam and Ross Delafield, a former Marine, finished the month-long excursion.

They shared their experience and provided more information The Wounded Walk on Redskins Nation with Larry Michael, Voice of the Washington Redskins.  Their interview will air at 4:00pm this afternoon on Comcast SportsNet and again at 11:30pm tonight. If you can’t see it tonight, Redskins Nation will also play at 7:30am tomorrow.

Before you sit down to listen to their incredible journey and all of the great work they do,  here’s a sneak peak of  their latest walk:
