32 men will hear their names called tonight, give mom and dad a hug, flash an ear to ear smile, walk up to a personalized theme song as millions watch on and shake NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s hand before holding up a No. 1 jersey.

It will assuredly be one of the greatest moments in their lives. To coincide with #TBT, here is a  photo and video rundown of current and past Redskins during their draft days:

First Rounders

On April 26th, 2012, the Washington Redskins snagged Robert Griffin III, 2011 Heisman Winner, with the second-overall pick.

Here’s a picture of him with Goodell:

Pure euphoria.

One year prior to the selection of a franchise cornerstone, the Redskins selected their second tenacious outside linebacker.

Here’s Ryan Kerrigan post-flowing mane:

Of the three million reasons Griffin III was smilin’ so hard was knowing that his blindside will always be protected by Trent “Silverback” Williams.

That first tenacious outside linebacker? Brian Orakpo of Longhorn fame.

Here’s DeAngelo Hall (middle) just months removed from an incredible collegiate career at Virginia Tech:

Three picks before Hall was none other than the legendary Sean Taylor:

When teams have back-to-back picks in the draft, it’s usually in the later rounds. But in 2000, the Redskins held picks No. 2 and 3 and selected Chris Samuels with one of those picks.

Later Rounders

In 2013, the Washington Redskins drafted ball-hawking cornerback David Amerson with the 51st-pick. You can find him in the middle of some screaming family in the red hat below.

Newest Redskins wide receiver, DeSean Jackson, showed off an impressive tie knot in this photo sometime before the 2008 NFL Draft:
