More On Kevin Durant, NBA MVP And Loyal Redskins Fan

Oklahoma City Thunder forward and lifelong Washington Redskins fan, Kevin Durant, never thought he’d experience the moment of recognition from his peers and media members that he is professional basketball’s MVP.

Admitting that his dream was simply to become a rec league coach, Durant grew up a stone’s throw away from both RFK Stadium and FedExField.

Now, instead of instructing youth in Maryland, Durant is inspiring millions across the world and reminding everyone that he is no bandwagon fan. He loves the Redskins.

Austin, Seattle, Oklahoma City. Regardless of the address, and being surrounded by fans that root for the rival, Durant continues to rep burgundy and gold and occasionally stamps his tweets with #HTTR to his nearly seven million Twitter followers.
