Redskins, Make A Wish Partner Up

There’s just nothing quite like seeing a child see their dreams come true.

For 5-year-old Addy of Arlington, Va., however, the journey to realizing her ultimate dream didn’t come easy.

In March 2013, Addy was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer, and in the coming weeks and months, this sweet little girl underwent a grueling treatment regimen

Although she could’ve given up to the terrible disease at any time, she didn’t. Instead, she remained strong, gaining inspiration from musicians like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Over that time, Addy developed a passion for the music and that glamorous lifestyle. So when she had surgery to remove her tumor and Addy’s doctor told her parents that she would be eligible for the Make A Wish program, Addy immediately knew what she wanted:

To be a pop star.

Thanks to Make A Wish and the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation — which funded the endeavor — Addy’s dream came true Saturday evening.
