Yesterday, ESPN published an article highlighting the golden anniversary of the 1964 NFL Draft class.

50 years after receiving word that they had reached the pinnacle of the football world, the 1964 draft class is still considered one of the best of all-time.

Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center A Top RVA Destination

Home to the Commonwealth’s premiere science museum, famous historical monuments and the former Sausage King, Jimmy Dean, Richmond, Va. added to the list last summer when the Washington Redskins packed their bags and traveled 115 miles south to commence training camp at the brand new, state-of-the-art Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center.

Having a $10.5 million impact on the City of Richmond, over 165,000 Redskins fans flocked to last year’s three-week training camp.

Now, with the second Richmond training camp a little over two months away, it makes sense that the “destination” is a reason to come to the Commonwealth’s capital.
