New Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson had quite the morning as he and his teammates got some work in on the third day of voluntary mini-camp.
The thought of record-setting wideout Pierre Garcon on one side of the field and Jackson on the other had fans dreaming of wild fireworks shows in 2014 and beyond the moment No. 11 signed on the dotted line of his new contract.
On Thursday, the two paired up during some pass-catching drills and provided this image that I’m sure won’t be a onetime thing:
Soon after, Super Bowl XVII winning quarterback Joe Theismann gave Jackson and the rest of his receiving corps teammates sage advice before going through the next round of drills.
Finally, he had the chance to go one-on-one with a certain someone by the name of Jay Gruden.
Gruden has been active all week with the players and it’s been great to see his affinity for teaching and also learning from his players. This was the first time since arriving to Washington in January that Gruden was able to work with the entire roster.
Of course Jackson wasn’t the only Redskin at voluntary mini-camp today. For more exclusive photos of the team from today, CLICK HERE.
