Chris Baker has a lot of teams.
The defensive lineman grew up in Windsor, Connecticut, so he’s a Connecticut Huskies fan. He played college ball at Hampton and Penn State, so he’s a vocal supporter of the Nittany Lions.
Baker’s childhood best friend Terrance Knighton plays for the Denver Broncos, where Baker started his NFL career, so he cheered for Peyton Manning and Co. to win the Super Bowl.
Last night it was all about UConn. Connecticut beat Kentucky, 60-54, in the NCAA Tournament final.
Since the tournament began, cornerback Richard Crawford has been cooling Baker’s enthusiasm. Crawford went to Southern Methodist University, which beat UConn twice in regular season American Athletic Conference play but was snubbed from the NCAA tournament field. The Mustangs lost to Minnesota in the NIT final.
Niles Paul sipped the #Haterade, too.
Well the big man is kind of like Drake. He has a lot of swag.
