First Look: The Redskins Are Back

Posted by Gabe Hiatt on April 7, 2014 – 11:39 am

Monday marks the first day Redskins players can return for organized activities at Redskins Park. For more on the parameters of Phase 1 workouts, you can read Andrew Walker’s article on Redskins.com.

We’re going to talk about the eyeball test, weigh-ins and workouts.

As you can see above, Chris Baker looked svelte after a voluntary team workout in the indoor practice facility.

The defensive lineman has been working on his six-pack all offseason, but he was still cautious about stepping on the scale.

Conversely, cornerback Richard Crawford is trying to keep his weight up.

Speaking of slim, nosetackle Chris Neild looks like he’s eaten a few salads.

Robert Griffin III was happy to get back to work and show off some bulk.

Not that he was carrying much baby fat, but tight end Jordan Reed is cut up.

We will have a full photo gallery on Redskins.com of the players walking in from the morning’s workout if you want to see Alfred Morris giving dap.

Now that your appetite for OTAs is sufficiently whetted, here are some videos of the players hard at work in the bubble:

And in the weight room:

Was it just me, or did RGIII look really winded compared to everyone else during those drills…
