Pierre Garçon is visiting U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East for a weeklong morale-building tour coordinated by the NFL and USO.
Of course part of his time with service members included working on his hands.
“Being a part of this USO tour has been a very memorable experience for me, seeing everything the men and women in uniform do for us back home,” Garçon said,
“Talking with the troops and seeing the effects we had on them will live with me forever. I’m so happy I came on this trip and now I I’ve met some friends that I will remember forever. Thank you to the troops for all that you do.”
We’ll have a gallery of Pierre posing with military personnel and their armored vehicles up on Redskins.com, but until then here are a few more pictures military service members shared on Twitter.
Garçon found some Redskins fans at Camp Leatherneck.
Then took a selfie inside a Red Cross helicopter.
And later checked in from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi.
