#TBT: Pierre Garçon in Super Bowl XLIV

Posted by Gabe Hiatt on January 30, 2014 – 5:30 pm

On Feb. 7, 2010, Pierre Garçon scored the first touchdown of Super Bowl XLIV for the Indianapolis Colts.

Five days earlier, he wrapped a Haitian bandanna around his head and addressed the press at Super Bowl media day. At the time, the Haitian-American said he felt he needed to bring some attention to earthquake-stricken country.

Garçon played well in a 31-17 loss to New Orleans, catching five passes from Peyton Manning for 66 yards.

On Thursday, the Redskins receiver talked to Larry Michael and Brian Tinsman about his Super Bowl experiences before posting a picture of his mini flag on Instagram.
