Jim Caldwell Develops Quarterbacks

Jim Caldwell has fostered talented quarterbacks.

Peyton Manning is the obvious example. The 2012 Super Bowl edition of Joe Flacco, Redskins emigrant Brad Johnson and a collegiate Kerry Collins have also succeeded under Caldwell.

On Sunday, Caldwell became the second confirmed head coach candidate to interview with the Redskins, a franchise looking to develop its own nascent quarterback. Read more »

Condolences To The Family Of Redskins Marching Band Drum Leader Greg Rodgers

The Washington Redskins would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Greg Rodgers, the center snare and the leader of the drumline in the NFL’s oldest marching band.

Rodgers died of a heart attack last Tuesday, Dec. 31. A viewing will be held On Monday, Jan. 6, when Rodgers will be wearing a personalized ring he received from owner Daniel Snyder for two decades of service to the franchise. He was 53 years old.

An alumnus of the John F. Kennedy High School (Suffolk, Va.) band and the Norfolk State University band, Rodgers marched for the Redskins since 1990. Read more »
