Chris Cooley doesn’t buy it.

On a special edition of “Inside the Redskins” airing on NBC-4 at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 4, Cooley details why he disagrees with anyone who thinks the Washington Redskins are not an attractive destination for head coaching prospects.

“I don’t know how you could imagine someone wouldn’t want to take this job,” Cooley told Larry Michael.

Take a sneak peak at the show and watch Cooley explain his stance in the video below. Tune in for a special edition of “Inside the Redskins” recapping the season and looking ahead in 2014.

Thank you Chris. Sometimes I get depressed about my Redskins. Hearing you talk like that helps.

I hope you are right. We have been waiting since 1991 to be a great team and miss those days! We need a lot of help on Defense and another good receiver opposite Garcon. Hope Snyder opens up the books at some good free agents this tme.

I understand that we have had some bad years however, for the commentators to dis-respect a nfl team the way that has been done is horrible. As Cooley stated we do have alot of talent we just need someone who can bring them all together and play and one unit, instead of indvidual players. HTTR

    Nice job Chris.

So stupid to hear people claim this is not a great job. As you say, even though we have had a rough # of years, this job beats 99.9999% of those out there and certainly can be one of the most high profile jobs in the NFL.

Many changes needed, but who is not up to that. I want to see the 30-60-90 day business plan for the new guy.

Chris is right on the money, we have the talent we just need the right coach to bring the best out of the players on the roster, who wouldnt want to be the HC of an NFL team

Chris, you are completely right. The Redskins have a lot of talent to build around. The problem is the players need to step up and play better football. And we need to do a better job on the offense play calling. I do believe the redskins needs you back on the team. Win or lose I have supported them since I was 6 years old and I am 58 now. Players need to work harder on receptions, making interceptions. Offense line needs work to support the QB, however the QB needs to be more alert of his open receivers. I see a lot. Some might say what does he know, but I played football for 7 years. And was part of the winning state Virginia championship. Redskins have been the heart and soul of my football life. Also, defense needs to really step up there game and become the defense that they were known for.
