The Redskins know firsthand how well Dallas played on special teams this season.
On Friday, Washington interviewed the man in charge of the unit to be the 29th head coach of the franchise.
Rich Bisaccia directed a group that ranked fourth in the NFL In kick return average (25.5 yards per return) and fifth in punt return average (12.5 yards per return). Dallas held opponents to 20.8 yards per kick return, tied for the sixth lowest average in the league, and did not allow a touchdown on a kick or punt return.
The Cowboys ranked fourth in field goal percentage, successfully converting 93 percent of their attempts. They did not allow a blocked punt or kick during the season. Read more »

Chris Cooley doesn’t buy it.
On a special edition of “Inside the Redskins” airing on NBC-4 at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 4, Cooley details why he disagrees with anyone who thinks the Washington Redskins are not an attractive destination for head coaching prospects.
“I don’t know how you could imagine someone wouldn’t want to take this job,” Cooley told Larry Michael.

Like a mechanic extending the life of a 1991 Mazda 626 “Bentley,” Alfred Morris will continue to retool his game.
In his first two seasons Morris started all 32 games and rushed 611 times for 2,888 yards and 20 touchdowns.
