Five games left–that’s what the Washington Redskins have remaining on this so far disappointing regular season campaign.

While the offense’s woes were being portrayed on televisions across this great nation, the burgundy and gold entered halftime only down by four and appeared to have the momentum edge heading inside the depths of FedExField for a quick breather and intermission pep talk courtesy head coach Mike Shanahan.

Boom! The defense’s gang tackle of Vernon Davis on the half’s third play resulted in the first forced turnover of the evening and the offense finally–after starting so many drives inside their own five this season–had fantastic starting field position.

What did they get out of it? Turnover on downs.

It’s been that type of season for the burgundy and gold.

Only hours removed from the three touchdown defeat, Shanahan really hit the turnover bug hard and gave an important injury update on the defensive line that has a huge impact on the immediate future.

First things first we have to protect our franchise QB. This guy is a warrior he is coming off a major surgery and everyone expects him to run like a cheetah through defenses again this year . Common sense for any opposing team would be to blitz none stop to prove mobility! Now as coaching staff we need a better play selection bc its highlighted what we are gonna do on offense really. We need to run more screen plays to start the game then dose of Morris and RG. I know RG3 will be a great leader in do time. The 3/4 defense not working for us need faster linebackers for that go back to 4/3 orackpo and carriker are better coming from 3pt stance. Secondary looks horrible playing that zone . Gotta make alot of 1 on 1 tackles in a zone and they really need a leader . The rules dont help us out either guys are scared to go hard because of all these silly fines you drafted them for a reason and now you take. Away some of there best attributes wow with a fine wow. Still a true fan Love my Skins REDSKINS never give up . I need to come to a game this yr and a couple next season my true fan blood may break the curse lol.
